Load securing in SAP EWM
One of our customers is one of the leading manufacturers of fruit juices for children. The brand is known worldwide for its iconic beverage bags. From its central sales warehouse near Heidelberg, the company supplies markets and sales partners throughout Germany and Europe.
In 2014, the company took the decisive step towards its strategic reorganization and built a new, fully automated warehouse operated with EWM 9.0. The direct connection of the warehouse to the production lines was an essential step towards high-throughput processing. In 2018, the company then decided to map its load securing in SAP EWM together with us.
Scope of the project
- Implementation of a mobile photo documentation solution in SAP EWM
- Integration into an existing mobile ITS solution on an Android platform
- Use of the SAP-DMS (document management system) as a photo storage
- Image search and download directly in SAP ERP
