For the upgrade from SAP TM 9.1 to SAP TM 9.5, the complex system landscape, including all customer enhancements, was updated. It also included the integration of SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS), SAP Environment Health & Safety Management (SAP EH& S), SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM), SAP Process Integration (SAP PI) and an independent warehouse system.

In close cooperation with the SAP support and development team, our TM team solved over 100 OSS incidents and the resulting new SAP Notes. In addition to delivery integration from SAP ERP, the TM processes used included the creation of freight units, automated planning, Transport Cockpit performance optimization, operation of various interfaces, freight cost calculation, and FSD integration into SAP ERP.

logventus managed the complete project cycle from planning, implementation with subsequent testing to go-live, and the final hyper care.

The biggest challenges that the team successfully faced were the new complex processes that had to be taken into account during the revision and the coordination with the numerous different departments and companies to meet the tight schedule. In the end, the entire team was pleased with a successful go-live, praise, and the request to participate in a later project.
